For allocators
Most allocators do not have a sourcing problem. They have a verification problem. Managers are easy to find; managers whose numbers survive examination are not, and checking each one properly costs more time than most allocation teams have.
What we do before you speak to anyone
By the time a manager reaches you, three things have already happened. Their live record has been confirmed by a party independent of them. Their operational setup, risk controls and background have been through the same operational due diligence an allocator would run. And their realistic capacity has been established, not claimed.
That last point is the one most often skipped elsewhere. A strategy that performs at one million and degrades at twenty is not a strategy an institution can deploy into, however good the chart looks. We would rather tell you the ceiling up front than let you discover it after funding.
What we need from you
Capital introduction only works when it is matched. We match against a mandate, not against a wish. The more precisely you describe yours, the less of your time we waste:
Markets you can access. Foreign exchange, digital assets, managed futures, equity indices — and any you are excluded from.
Return and risk profile. Not a target return in isolation, but the drawdown you can actually sit through and explain to your own committee.
Liquidity and horizon. Redemption terms you need, and the period over which you judge a manager.
Constraints. Jurisdiction, counterparty, custody, reporting, anything that rules a manager out before performance is even discussed.
Indicative size. A range is enough. It determines which managers have the capacity to take you at all.
What happens next
We reply to access requests within two business days. If a manager in the current selection fits your mandate, you receive the documentation before any call: the verified record, the operational review, the capacity position. If none fits, we say so rather than sending you something adjacent.
From there, any arrangement is made directly between you and the manager, under your own documentation. Hedgemere Capital is not a party to it, does not custody assets and does not execute.
What we are not
We are not a fund. We do not hold client assets, do not manage money on behalf of investors, do not provide investment advice and do not act as a broker. Access to manager information is intended solely for professional and institutional investors and is subject to separate documentation.
Common questions
What does Hedgemere Capital provide to an allocator?
Access to trading managers whose live record has been independently verified, whose operational setup has been reviewed, and whose realistic capacity is stated before any conversation takes place.
Does Hedgemere Capital manage my capital?
No. We do not hold client assets, do not manage money on behalf of investors and do not provide investment advice. Any arrangement is entered into directly between the allocator and the manager, under separate documentation.
What do you need from an allocator?
Your mandate: the markets you can access, the return and risk profile you are working to, your liquidity requirements, your constraints, and an indicative allocation size. Without that we cannot match a manager to you, only send you a list.
How long does an introduction take?
We reply to access requests within two business days. How quickly an introduction follows depends on whether a manager in the current selection fits your mandate.
